It came from the fifties british term " Doing the Dirty..." it's another of those wierd phrases that's been shortened over time...

well its also another way that kids can talk about that kind of stuff without getting embarresed by saying the word "sex." I'm not sure why its less embarasing but it kinda seems that way.

Well you're too late, it's been checked out! I'm reading four books now. One is a fantasy, another is a... umm, i don't know really, sci fi/horror. Anyway, another is a murder mystery, and the other is just a teen fiction. So I'm looking forward to knowing how they end.

dang your a fattty reader. I'm not much into reading unless is of the comic variety. I donno I just don't always have the patience to read many books anymore. MOst of the reading i end up doing is in some Rodleslavty textbook, or in some novel for school which holds no interest for me. lol

I dont read a lot either, not even books for a school grade but when I find a good book then sometimes I'll read like 120 pages some nights. I also like to read comics and draw em too (thats what I do in history) I also hear playing magic its soooo fun

Have you played it yet?? I don't know much about it, someone once tried to teach me how to play. It almost seems like something my 6 yr old brother would play. I don't like to read the books the school assigns either. Why do those books bore the hell out of everyone? I used to love having book reports so we could choose our own titles. I've realized that the more you read, the faster you'll get at it, and it's good for when you're in college; I heard that from a college friend as well. After reading Slammerkin, I've been reading so fast; like 60-80 pages a night, I love it. I'm almost finished with the fantasy I'm reading. I should slip you some books Kevin, I think you would like some of the ones I have. Oh, if you like thriller books, you should read Dean Koontz' The Voice of The Night. It's in our library at school. If you go with me to the college over break, Kevin, maybe we'll find some good books for you to read.

No need to fight boys. We'll find you a book Kev, you just need to tell me what kinds of stories you like. I've discovered that I like the murder mysteries.

Erm, what's wrong with the 80 million books in my collection downstairs? I've offered it up as a sort of home-library multiple times...
