only because every episode of the Dang show is like a re-run only with a slightly different story. And scooby doo is the most annoying cartoon character of all time!

In all honesty, I'm against Scooby doo too, but I felt the need to play devil's advocate. In my mind, all cartoons are equal and then, there's anime, a category all it's own.

:)I don't see what the big difference is between anime and cartoons?

Well, here's one: Cartoons are for little kids and grandmas. Most Animes are way too violent for your average child or grandparent!

So an anime can be called a cartoon, just not for the younger generation...?

Technically... yes, I will grudgingly admit that Anime falls under the category of "Animated Film," or, in laymen's terms, Cartoons. Regardless of the category, there is a significant difference between Anime films and your standard run-of-the-mill substandard and immature american cartoon.

Well, here's one: Cartoons are for little kids and grandmas. Most Animes are way too violent for your average child or grandparent! lol, let me just restate that. In general, true Animes are meant for more mature audiences. They deal with issues in a way that slips over the heads of most children and feature certain key elements (like nudity and/or s.ex I.E. Spencer's favorite part of Bio-Hunter,) that appeal to people of an older age group. Sure, little kids and Grandmas can watch these if they want, (I did, but only as a small child, not as a Grandma ) but alot of concepts can be missed. Anime, in the barest of laymen's terms, is essentially "Cartoons for bigger kids," and therein lies the biggest difference.
