oh yeah, see i only played Final Fantasy 1,5, and 6. 6 is really my favourite, plus i never upgraded a new console or computer to play final fantasy. Although i did play Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger.

Chrono Triger is good, but Chrono Cross was a dissapointment. I love FF 6 though. If they were to re-do that game on PS2 it would rock some major sockage . I myself am not graphics picky (I still play my nintendo), but I would love to see all the old FF's tranformed into 3-d games.

well, i liked the combat system of chrono cross, but i thought the navigation sucked, but then again i never really caught onto the whole third person view\turn around and then move. I liked the old FF's where you have an animation sprite (or w\e) and its could only move 4 different ways; up, down, left, and right. But i'm an old school gamer, actually i'm not the first computer i had was a windows 5.1

X-2's Japanese release is supposed to be ass kicking. I mean, to the point of having almost double the content. Anyone else hear anything about it?

They actually had two versions. The regulare and then that extended version. They did the same thing with Final Fantasy X. It's a pitty they don't port those expanded versions here as well. They did the same thing with Star Ocean 3, only they were smart enough to just wait and release the expanded version in the US (which was a smart move I think) They do that with a lot of games. Also my all time favs Lunar 1 and 2 had huge releases. When I say huge releases, imagine the lines of people waiting the day before the PS2 hit shelves (camping outside the stores even). Those games were huge over there, but here it's only a small portion of civote fans such as myself. Those games do truly rock though. Awesome story lines, sweet battles, and some of the coolest anime cutscenes you'll ever see. Sure they used traditional 2d sprite characters, but those kind of Japanese RPG's rule Wow that was a long rant I went on. (did I mention that when you buy those games they come in a box with extra goodies. for example hardcover/leather bound instruction booklets that contain a mini strat guide for the first little portion of the game, making of and sound track discs. Also with the second game they have mini standies of the characters, and a replica of the pendant worn by Lucia 'one of the main characters')

well that sounds extremely kickass, the only box-set ive gotten in my life is the FullMetal Alchemist Collector's edition thingy that had the 1st dvd (thats the only one released here so far) and a -not available in stores- soundtrack, and i cant believe the series is over in Japan! theyre even about to release the movie, and L'Arc~en~Ciel is gonna sing the intro!! XD this is the second anime i love where L'Arc sings the intro to the movie and the anime (may i remind- RuroKen's "Fourth Avenue Cafe' in the series and "Niji" in the movie ;D) and i have recently discovered that recently whatever the topic is i always end up thinking or talking about FullMetal Alchemist inevitably
